Where is the most expensive primary residential real estate in Ukraine?

Lviv continues to hold the lead in apartment prices in Ukraine’s primary market. In half a year, since Lviv overtook Kyiv in terms of cost per square meter, this separation has increased by 10%, said Business Development Manager at LUN Olena Unanyan, at the Recovery Construction Forum Ukraine.

As she clarified, the price of housing in new buildings in Lviv currently reaches ₴53,700 ($1,358) per meter, while in Kyiv, the price is ₴49,100 ($1,241).

The five leading cities in terms of price per square meter in new buildings are the following:

1. Lviv – ₴53,700 ($1,358)
2. Kyiv – ₴49,100 ($1,241)
3. Uzhhorod – ₴43,100 ($1,090)
4. Dnipro – ₴42,700 ($1,080)
5. Odesa – ₴37,800 ($955)

Before the Russian invasion Kyiv was the undisputed leader in terms of prices – with a gap of 30% between itself and Lviv, Odesa and Kharkiv, which all had approximately the same price per square meter. Today, Kharkiv has fallen out of the first tier of real estate cost, and Uzhhorod has taken its place.
