Revenues from rents for iron ore were not included in the 2022 state budget.

The Ministry of Finance did not consider the additional income from the rent for iron mining. The Ministry could not take into account the possible effect of changes in the taxation of iron ore mining in the revenue part of the budget, as the final version of such changes was determined during the vote for project 5600 in the session hall. The Ministry of Finance stated that after adopting the resource bill, the state budget may receive additional revenues of UAH 25-35 bln ($1-1.3 bln) per year, reported epravda.com.
