Ukrainian Railways (UZ) transported a record amount of grain in December.

In December 2021, UZ transported 3.865 M tons of grain cargo, which is 15.8% more than in December 2020. According to the Ukrainian Railways, (UZ), this is a record for the past 11 years. In total, UZ transported 33.666 M tons of grain cargo in 2021. Domestic traffic amounted to 3.6 M tons, while exports – 29.26 M tons, and imports – 215.6 thousand tons, and transits amounted to – 589.9 thousand tons.
