Ukrainian exporters have experienced problems with access to EU markets.

Many Ukrainian exporters are complaining to the Ministry of Economy about the refusal of EU customs authorities in member states to process goods. This stems from the EU’s decision on October 6 to ban the import of goods from the territories of the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions not under the control of the Ukrainian government. Therefore, the Ministry of Economy and the State Customs Service have issued recommendations to exporters whose production facilities are in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, as well as other regions near the contact line. The agencies advise that when exporting products to EU member states, it is mandatory to issue a EUR.1 movement certificate in paper form, despite having the status of an authorized exporter.
