Ukraine and Montenegro signed a declaration on the North Atlantic perspective.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović signed a joint declaration on the prospects of Ukraine’s membership in NATO. The declaration defines the priority areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Montenegro within the framework of Ukraine’s strategic course toward full NATO membership. Abazović noted that Montenegro supports the Alliance’s open-door policy and the prospect of Ukraine gaining full membership in NATO. Also, the parties agreed on practical interaction in the context of Ukraine’s preparation for the next stage of EU membership, the start of pre-accession negotiations.
