Ukrainian banks earned UAH 9.9B in January-February.

 In the first two months of 2022, Ukrainian banks received UAH 9.9B ($330M) in net profit which is 53% more than in the same period last year, reported the National Bank of Ukraine.  It is noted that the revenue of banks in the first two months of 2022 increased by 41% compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to UAH 49.5B, and increase of expenses – by 39% to UAH 39.6B. Moreover, despite the hostilities on Ukrainian territory, domestic banks remain stable and maintain their liquidity. The regulatory capital of banks as of February 1, 2022 amounted to UAH 219B, which is historically its largest value.
