Ukraine will have a direct railway connection with the port of Reni through Moldova.

The government approved a draft protocol on amendments to the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova on the operation of railway transport, as announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, “we decided to improve logistics with our partner countries. Now we will have a direct rail freight connection with the port of Reni through the territory of Moldova”, the head of government emphasized.

He added that Ukraine will thus make maximum use of the Danube ports potential, which are now significantly increasing cargo turnover.
