Ukraine takes another step towards receiving €50B from the EU.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine is submitting the preliminary draft plan for the Ukraine Facility program to the European Commission. He noted that the Ukraine Facility, or Ukraine Plan, is a four-year program of assistance for Ukraine that emphasizes budgetary support.

Among other things, the project includes fighting corruption, reforming the judicial system, improving the business climate, and developing processing and other industries. Shmyhal said the plan will also contain three cross-cutting directions – European integration, digital transformation, and green transition.

At the same time, EC President Ursula von der Leyen noted the progress in developing the plan for the Ukraine Facility program.
