The government of Ukraine plans to reduce its public debt to 50.8% of GDP in 2022, stated The Prime Minister, Denis Shmygal. Ukraine’s government priorities are to continue working with the IMF and to keep maintaining the sustainability of public finances and macro-financial stability. According to the latest numbers, public debt to GDP in 2021 fell to 51.7%.
