Ukraine identifies four industries that will become the engine for the economy’s recovery.
The government is betting on development in four priority industries that will become the Ukrainian economy’s engine for the recovery, said the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yuliya Svyridenko. The Ukrainian government has singled out these areas as its primary focus for maintenance efforts. They include: military tech (high-tech weapons); metallurgy, mining and engineering; agriculture and the food industry; and IT. “Military tech is a new industry focus in our state’s development. Ukraine now operates as a large training ground – this market has grown between three and seven times. There is an opportunity to develop military products, manufacture them, and immediately test them. Military tech will provide domestic weapons in Ukraine, and manufacturers will be able to export them. This is our main priority now, based on our reality,” said Svyridenko.
