Ukraine has received a $1.5B grant from the United States.

This is the last tranche of grant funds from the $4.5B package the US provided through the World Bank’s Trust Fund, the Ministry of Finance reported. It is noted that the funds will be used for salaries, social benefits (payment of housing and communal services, support for low-income families, disabled children, and those disabled since childhood), pension payments, and internally displaced persons. Since the beginning of Russia’s open military aggression against Ukraine, the United States, with the assistance of the World Bank, has already provided Ukraine with $8.5B in grant aid.
