The Ukrainian authorities have ceased collaboration with the International Monetary Fund within the framework of the Standby program, the second revision of which began a day before the war, reported the press service of the IMF. “The Ukrainian authorities have canceled the Standby agreement, and the authorities have expressed their intention to work with the IMF to develop an appropriate economic program aimed at recovery and growth, when possible,” the fund said. The IMF stresses that the Ukraine authorities will continue to be in close consultation with IMF staff and will continue “to develop and implement effective measures to mitigate the crisis.”
