Truck traffic to Poland at the Korczowa – Krakovets border crossing has increased by 51%.

During the first month of operation at the updated Krakivets – Korchova checkpoint on the Ukraine and Poland border, the average daily number of trucks that left Ukraine increased by 51%, up to 423 trucks, announced the Minister of Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov. These results were achieved due to the implementation of the Open Border project. Its launch was agreed upon by the presidents of Ukraine and Poland and advised by Polish-Ukrainian intergovernmental consultations. The government plans to extend the Open Border to other checkpoints. Among the priorities is the busiest point on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Yagodin – Dorogusk.
