Transcarpathia is investing more than €36M in a processing industrial park.
A new industrial park, EKO Mukachevo, will be constructed in the city of Mukachevo in Transcarpathia. According to the park’s concept, processing enterprises will be created in the industrial park. They will be engaged in woodworking, paper and paper product production, and printing product production.
It is expected that the park will also house enterprises producing textiles and electrical equipment, companies specializing in the electronics industry, metalworking, food technology, scientific and technical activities, activities in the field of information technology and telecommunications, alternative energy and other compatible areas.
The industrial park will be located on 23 hectares, creating about 900 new jobs. It is planned to attract more than €36M in investment for its implementation. EKO Mukachevo is the 85th industrial park in Ukraine. In the state budget for 2024, ₴1B was allocated to support the development of industrial parks.
