The UVCA has opened a hub in Brussels for business cooperation with the EU.

The EU Business Hub, which includes an investment platform for promoting projects and cooperation between Ukrainian and European businesses, a business club, and the Seven Camp acceleration program, was opened in Brussels, said the chairman of the supervisory board of the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA), Andrii Kolodyuk.

According to him, Brussels was not chosen by chance, as it is the center for both the EU and NATO institutions, but its task is to create connections and expand cooperation between Ukraine and Europe at the entrepreneurial level; one of the hub’s focuses is dual-purpose technologies.

Kolodyuk noted that Seven Camp is an acceleration program for startups in AI, FinTech, Smart City, IT, and Dual Use technologies – technologies that can be used in both civilian and military applications, particularly for drones.
