The US is going to help Ukraine get through the winter after suffering devastating Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, US Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried said. According to Donfried, one of the aspects of this support is assistance to Ukraine in obtaining more air defense systems. The second aspect is assistance with equipment to restore energy infrastructure damaged by shelling. But here, the question arises about the availability of such equipment in the US and EU countries. “There are a lot of different elements that we’re working on right now, and we’ll continue to do everything we can to get you through this winter,” Donfried stressed.
