The Ukrainian Parliament plans to exempt equipment for industrial parks from import duties.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the bill “5689” On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to create favorable conditions for attracting large-scale investment in industrial production. The document envisages exemption from import duties of new equipment imported by participants of industrial parks included in the Register of Industrial Parks, exclusively for their use in the processing industry (except for the production of excisable goods) or research activities in the territory (within) industrial park.
