The Ukrainian Parliament has supported an exemption from customs duty on grain storage goods.

The Committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy recommended approval in the first reading of the draft law on the exemption from import duty taxation of goods used for the storage of grain and oil crops, reported the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. The purpose of the draft law is to exempt from import duties products and equipment used for storage, transportation, loading, and unloading of grain and oilseeds when imported into the customs territory of Ukraine. If the document is adopted, the exemption will be effective during the period of martial law in the territory of Ukraine and for 30 days from the day of its termination or cancellation.
