The Russian Federation bombed Kyiv during an official visit by a delegation from African countries.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called the June 16 missile attack on Kyiv proof that Vladimir Putin either does not control the army or is an inadequate leader. The Russian military fired rockets at the leaders of other states, who will go to the Russian Federation after visiting Ukraine.

On Friday, Zelenskyy met with the presidents of the Union of Comoros, the Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Zambia, and the Prime Minister of Egypt. Special representatives of the presidents of Congo and Uganda also participated in the meeting.

“Russian cruise and ballistic missiles today showed Russia’s real disdain for efforts to restore peace and for all world leaders trying to protect the world from aggression”, Zelenskyy emphasized. On that day, Ukrainian air defense destroyed six Kinzhal  air-launched ballistic missiles, six Kalibr cruise missiles, and two reconnaissance UAVs.

Also, the president of Ukraine presented a peace formula to the African leaders and explained how it will lead to the restoration of security in Ukraine.
