The Netherlands will allocate €120M for military equipment for Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands website, the Netherlands will give €120M for the supply of heavy military equipment to the Ukrainian army, including €45M for T-72 tanks. “This comprehensive package is an important signal to Russia. Allies continue to combine efforts to support Ukrainian armed forces in the fight against Russia’s aggressive war,” Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren said. Together with the US and the Czech Republic, the Netherlands will deliver 90 modernized and overhauled tanks from the Czech Republic. Ukraine will receive some of the tanks next month. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, thanked the Netherlands, the US and the Czech Republic for their decision to expand aid to Ukraine. According to Kuleba, Ukraine will receive the first 26 tanks in December.
