The Ministry of Economy presents a plan for the return of Ukrainian refugees.

Security and the opportunity to find a job, study, and have housing are critical factors for the return of Ukrainian refugees. The government is already working on creating conditions for implementing each component, said Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko.

She noted that Ukraine is experiencing the biggest migration crisis since the Second World War – more than six million Ukrainians are abroad. The number of those who have already found a job there grows every month, and to bring them home will be a challenge. Within the framework of guaranteeing security, Ukraine is working on the further liberation of territories and their demining to bring life back to de-occupied territories, added the minister.

The government has introduced grant programs to start or expand businesses in order to create jobs. In addition, Ukrainians can undergo training or retraining to learn or update their profession in response to market needs. To resolve the housing issue, the state’s eOselya affordable lending program allows consumers to obtain loans at 3% or 7% for the purchase of housing.
