The head of the Ukrainian government has met with the ministers of foreign affairs of the Northern Baltic states.

During a meeting in Kyiv with the foreign ministers of Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed the 9th sanctions package against the Russian Federation. The prime minister said that Ukraine hopes the 9th   sanctions package will include the complete disconnection of Russian banks from SWIFT, a ban on entry into the EU for citizens of the terrorist state, and restrictions on Russian energy resources. According to Shmyhal, the main topics of his meeting with the diplomats were weapons, finances, and sanctions against the aggressor. He emphasized that supplying anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems to Ukraine remains a key point of discussion.
