The government has presented the first details of the €50B Ukraine Plan from the EU.

On October 26, the Ukrainian Parliament reported that most of the money from the plan, €39B, is directed to the Plan of Ukraine. Another €8B is Investment Fund, and €3B is for Technical and Administrative Support. The mentioned €39B is macro-financial aid for the state budget, conditionally as an IMF tranche.

The plan contains the crucial steps and the deadlines for completing these tasks. It also determines the amount of money allocated for the implementation of each specific item. Each quarter, from 2024 to 2027, will have a list of corresponding steps by which the money will be allocated.

It is noted that each quarterly review of the plan will include a strict audit by the EU commission, but the review mechanism itself has not yet been determined. The Ukrainian government will appoint a coordinator responsible for monitoring the plan’s implementation.
