The EU welcomed the adoption of the law on the status of NABU.

The Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Matti Maasikas, welcomed the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of a draft law on amendments to the legislation on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. On Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada passed in the second reading a bill according to which the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine should be appointed and dismissed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
