Revenues from the sale of state property have reached a 10-year record.
The state property fund transferred UAH 902M from privatization to the state budget in the first quarter of 2023, the highest indicator in the last 10 years. The average figure in the first quarter over the last decade was UAH 234M.
In the first quarter of this year, the fund sold logistic objects, trade facilities, warehouses, alcohol production plants, and other assets. For the first time, the state property fund auctioned a seaport, with the Ust-Dunaisk seaport sold for UAH 201M.
Also, investors were actively interested in alcohol assets. For example, during the bidding for the sale of the Storonybab distillery, its value increased by almost 200% to UAH 142M. Privatizing the Bar distillery brought UAH 21.3M to the state budget, 400% more than the starting price.
Therefore, the state agency continues work to restore the Big Privatization Initiative, which could bring $400M to the budget by the end of the year.
