Real estate prices in new developments are rising across the country.
Prices for apartments in new buildings are growing in hryvnia and dollar equivalence compared to pre-war levels, reported real estate portal LUN.ua. In Kyiv, work resumed on 23% (43) of construction sites, compared to the pre-war level, and the same tendency was seen in the Kyiv region, where 25% (45) of residential complexes recommenced construction. The average price per square meter in the capital increased by 4.4% to $1,410 per square meter, and in the Kyiv region increased by 12.2% to $765 per square meter. The prices in the western areas of Ukraine rose from 6.7% in the Chernivtsi region to 15.5% in the Khmelnytskyi region, which is the highest in the country. The main reason for price increases in the new buildings is due to the rise in the cost of construction materials.
