Members of the German Bundestag have called for an increase in arms supplies to Ukraine.

 Politicians from German coalition parties have called for additional arms supplies to Ukraine, even if it temporarily weakens the Bundeswehr, reported Spiegel. “We consider it our duty to support Kyiv’s struggle for survival because Ukraine also defends our interests and values. Russia’s war of aggression is a turning point, and it also requires the opening of new ways to defend our goal of a rules-based world order in which the force of the law, not the law of the strongest prevail,” said members of the Bundestag Christian Klink (SPD), Sara Nanni (Greens) and Alexander Müller (FDP). Politicians in the security sphere have said that they favor a significant increase in the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
