Israel will help the EU to fight the gas crisis.
Wednesday, September 14, 2022
According to Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid, the country will be able to provide the EU with about 10% of the gas that Europe received from Russia in 2021, VOA writes. Israel will join the EU’s efforts to replace Russian gas. In June, Israel and Egypt signed an agreement on the supply of liquefied natural gas to Europe. Israel will transport the gas to Egypt, where the raw material will be converted into a liquefied state, after which tankers will deliver it to Europe.
