In Ukraine, job vacancies are increasing.

A year after the beginning of the war, Ukraine’s labor market has stabilized, vacancies are increasing, and those looking for work in Ukraine are decreasing. At the beginning of the year, a record number of vacancies was recorded on job sites, and this number continues to grow, reports opendatabot. The largest increases in vacancies for the month was recorded in the Kropyvnytskyi region (+22%), Dnipropetrovsk region (+16%), and Chernivtsi region (+15%). Business activity has rebounded in areas that have suffered heavily from the Russian invasion: +15% vacancies in the Mykolaiv and Chernihiv regions. Compared to January, the number of active job offers increased by 11% in February. However, this is still 33% less than in February 2022. At the same time, the number of applicant resumes on employment sites is decreasing. For February they declined by 8%. At the same time, the number of Ukrainians looking for work is still six times greater than the number of vacancies.
