In the summer of 2025, a new semi-finished food product factory with 250 jobs will be opened in Ternopil Oblast.

According to the Office of Sustainable Regional Development, a new factory that will produce wafer sheets and other dough-based products (tartlets, waffle cups for ice cream, dessert trays, etc.) will start production in the summer of 2025.

The Investment Office team from the Ternopil region is providing full investor support in the construction of the new plant. This support has made it possible to start site preparation work in October and obtain a construction permit. It is noted that the new factory will create 250 jobs in the region with competitive wages, produce good that will be exported to more than 12 countries, including in Europe, the US, Israel, and Tunisia.

The new factory will bring more than ₴20M per year in taxes to the local budget, increase rent and demand for acquisition housing, which will stimulate the local construction industry and the real estate market’s development.
