Germany has increased imports from Russia by 60%.

 In January-April 2022, Germany increased imports from Russia by 60% and transferred to Moscow almost €6B more than in the same period last year, announced the Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Andriy Melnyk. At the same time, Germany’s trade turnover with Ukraine in these months amounted to €2.3B, down 11.8%.  According to Melnyk, imports from Russia to Germany in January-April increased by 59.9% and amounted to more than € 5.8B. Conversely, German exports to Russia in these months amounted to more than €6.15B, down 26.6%. Overall, the Russian-German trade turnover in January-April 2022 increased by 20.2%.
