Exports through the grain corridor increased by 65% during the last week, but the overall indicator decreased by 2.2%.

From June 5 to 11, 651,000 tons of agricultural products were exported through the seaports of Odesa through the grain agreement, which is 65% more than a week ago, according to UCAB. There were 13 vessels loaded during the week, which is six units more than the previous week. At the same time, these vessels have not yet passed their necessary inspection to continue moving further to their destinations.

Such weekly indicators of shipments remain below the average for the grain corridor’s history. And last week, only seven vessels passed inspection at the entrance, a critically low indicator.

Since the beginning of the initiative, it has been possible to export 31.6 million tons of agricultural products. At the same time, Ukraine’s actual volume of grain exports since the beginning of the 2022/2023 marketing year, as of June 12, is 46.748 million tons, which is 2.2% or 1.046 million tons less than in the same period last year.
