China will stop transporting goods to the EU through Russia.

In the nine months of 2022, the volume of cargo transported from China to Europe and back through the territory of the Russian Federation fell by more than a third (35%). According to the Deputy General Director of Russian Railways, Oleksiy Shilo, by the end of the year, the volume of transit rail container transportation will drop by 25%. The results of the three quarters of the current year show a drop in this indicator by 17.6% compared to the same period last year. China has started looking for new ways to deliver goods to Europe. In September in Samarkand, the participants of the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization announced the creation of an international railway between China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan that avoid Russian routes.
