Belgium will provide military aid worth €412M, and Germany is creating an armored vehicle coalition with Poland.

The first package, which Belgium and the Netherlands will deliver, will contain three minesweepers and the countries will conduct training on the vehicles’ operation and maintenance.

In the second package, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive armored ambulances from the two states previously mentioned, along with Luxembourg. The allies also plan to jointly purchase reconnaissance drones and provide approximately 300 German Lynx armored vehicles.

The third part of the aid will contain artillery ammunition worth €373.1M. This year’s assistance to Ukraine from Belgium will amount to €575.7M when the latest package is delivered.

Meanwhile, according to the BBC, the governments of Germany and Poland are creating a coalition to supply armored vehicles to Ukraine. During the Weimar Triangle countries’ meeting, the defense ministers from the two countries announced the coalition’s start on March 26. The UK, Sweden, and Italy will also join this initiative to create capacity for the coming years.

Also, Ukraine began negotiations with Estonia on the conclusion of a bilateral security agreement.
