In the northern direction, the Russian occupiers with up to 14 Battalion tactful groups (BTG) consisting of 90 tank divisions and 41 all-military armies completed the regrouping and continued the offensive to block KYIV from the northeast. The battle for Chernihiv has been going on for 72 hours. After an unsuccessful attempt to seize the city, the occupiers bypassed the city in the direction of Ivanivka and Kozelets. In the direction of Sumy, Pryluky, the enemy wedged to a depth of 200 km, but was stopped. The operational group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine restrains the advance of the enemy in the direction of Konotop – Poltava – Kyiv and conducts defensive battles on certain borders.
