An industrial park with ₴735M in investment will be built in the Kyiv region.

The Cabinet of Ministers has added Universal Industry, located in the village of Rokytne, Kyiv region, to the Register of Industrial Parks. Total investment in the industrial park for the next three years should amount to about ₴735M ($19.5M).

The concept behind the industrial park is to create about 650 jobs in the processing industry on the 13.3 hectare area. Investors plan to establish production for metal structures and finished metal products, machines and equipment, and food products, among other goods. Scientific and technical activities in information technology and telecommunications will also be conducted in the new industrial park.

Universal Industry becomes the second park included in the industrial park register this year and is the 75th on this list.
