Work has started rebuilding the main north-south road in Luhansk.
The P-66 runs from Demyno-Oleksandrivka, the northern border checkpoint with Russia, 240 km south to the front line area, near Lysychansk. Partly due to old bridges, some dating back to the 1950s, the average speed on the road is 50 km/hour.
