A Scandinavian company has increased the export of Ukrainian furniture by 50%.

The JYSK chain of home stores exported €2.11M worth of furniture from Ukraine in April, which is 46.7% more than in April 2022, reported JYSK Country Manager in Ukraine Yevhen Ivanitsa. He noted that in April, JYSK generally increased the volume of purchases of goods in Ukraine not only in comparison with 2022 when €1.44M in products were exported, but also with the pre-war year 2021 and its €1.7M export figure.

In 2023, the JYSK network opened two new stores: a renovated store in the Riviera shopping center in Odesa and two more stores in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and Kyiv, respectively, were announced in May and June.

Currently, 84 stores and the jysk.ua online store are operating in Ukraine. The staff of JYSK in Ukraine has more than 800 employees.
