A Saint-Gobain construction materials plant is being built in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Investments for the plant’s construction amount to €9M, and an anticipated output of 60,000 tons of products per year, said the general director of Saint-Gobain Construction Products Ukraine, Kyrylo Pesenkov.
He noted that the company intends to reach the planned capacity by the end of 2024. The plant’s first operation stage will create about 30 jobs.
It is reported that the owner of Saint-Gobain Building Products Ukraine is the French company, Saint-Gobain Isover. According to 2022’s results, the company generated ₴279M in revenue and ₴18.5M in net profit.
Saint-Gobain is one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Europe. The group operates in three sectors: innovative materials, construction products, and distribution of building materials.
