A new ₴8M metalworking plant has been launched in an industrial park in the Kyiv region.

Located within the KYT industrial park (Bucha, Kyiv region), which officially opened on June 6, a new FRES Co plant that will produce metal booklet springs and fittings for printing products has begun operations. The production capacity is 2,000 bobbins per month, allowing the supply of 40% of Ukraine’s domestic market needs. The total investment in the enterprise is ₴8M.

Currently, Fres Co is establishing the production of a new type of product – eyelets (rivets) used in printing. It is planned to fulfill 100% of Ukraine’s domestic market demand for this product and begin exports to the EU. By the end of 2025, there are plans to launch the production of staples used in the stationery, printing, construction, and furniture industries.

In the first phase of the KYT industrial park, 6,600 square meters have already been leased to businesses, with another 2,700 square meters remaining vacant. The construction of the second phase, covering an area of 7,500 square meters, is expected to be completed in September 2025.
