The government expands the law on investment in energy efficiency and hot water supply.
According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the draft law proposes to give preferences to these projects, increasing the threshold from €12M to €20M. This will allow not only large, but also medium enterprises to invest in these projects. In addition, the areas in which relevant projects can be implemented are expanding. In particular, the production of energy-efficient building materials, climate equipment, heating, air conditioning systems, and hot water supply. Furthermore, it will cover the law and activities in the field of information, electronic communications, and real estate transactions. Investors will also be allowed to enact project implementation before concluding a particular investment contract and make investments for pre-project works up to 25% of the total amount of significant investments.
