Ukraine will accelerate the creation of joint border railway points with EU countries.

The government will stimulate the process of creating joint railway checkpoints on the Ukrainian border with neighboring EU countries to speed up the logistics of domestic exporters, said the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko. The Ukrainian government is negotiating with their Polish counterparts to increase the number of border employees on phytosanitary control to speed up cargo registration and decrease freight truck queues. In addition, as reported by the head of Ukrainian Railways, Oleksandr Kamyshin, two additional railway crossings with Romania should be opened by the end of November. This will increase the opportunities to deliver exports the port of Constanta.
