Ukraine has received about €3B in financial assistance from its partners, said Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko. “Today, we are negotiating for about €7B, of which we have already received about €3B,” Marchenko said. Yesterday, the minister signed an agreement with Germany on a tied loan of €150M. Last week, Ukraine received €300M in loans from France and $500M in grants from the United States. In addition, Canada is ready to provide a loan of $500M. Marchenko noted that he sees the greatest prospects in the collective support mechanism. Thus, the Ministry of Finance is negotiating with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
