Germany asks its partners to transfer more anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, and Zelenskyy does not rule out attacks on nuclear power plants.

The German government has launched an initiative to find additional means of air defense that can be transferred to Ukraine. The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, Annalena Baerbock and Boris Pistorius, have already addressed the EU and NATO partners and third countries in this regard. The Immediate Action on Air Defense initiative aims to provide Ukraine with even greater support for its air defense as soon as possible.

In addition, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said: “Russia has already destroyed almost all of our thermal energy production. Dams, hydroelectric power plants, and gas infrastructure are subject to terrorist attacks. The Russian Federation does not rule out radiation blackmail and continues to play cruelly with the safety of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. We are not ruling out that the infrastructure of other nuclear power plants and distribution networks is also at risk, and only the Patriot, Iris-T, Samp-T, and Nasams can stop this”.
