Zelenskyy will offer Trump a free trade agreement between Ukraine and the US,

said Ukrainian Trade Representative Taras Kachka. He indicated that this topic will be discussed in the next stage of bilateral talks. Kachka noted that the Ukrainian side is interested in such an agreement, even though the US is not Ukraine’s largest trading partner.
“We are interested in free trade agreements with all G7 countries. That is, we have them with Britain, Canada, and the EU. We also need the US and Japan.”
According to the trade representative, more and more manufacturing companies are realizing that it is better to build their sales strategy abroad in the richest and most developed markets, where there are higher quality requirements, which consequently creates greater added value and increased profitability.
“From this perspective, it is important for us to focus on the possibility of exporting to the US and having a corresponding free trade agreement,” Kachka added.
In his opinion, establishing a joint investment fund for reconstruction lays the foundation for concluding a free trade agreement with the US.
