Zelenskyy states that he is “not ready” to give up territories,
although he acknowledged that such demands from Russia were already being made, said the president to CBS news. “Are we ready to give up territories for peace? We do not want to give up our territories. I would not like to get into a situation where I have to think about it and answer this question. We have already given the lives of many people to save the state.” According to Zelenskyy, “The Russian side said: recognize Crimea as Russian territory…I will not admit it for sure. And then they say: let’s resolve the Donbas issue. And their appetite has grown there, and they want the whole Donbas. And then they occupied the Kherson region, and now they want to take over the whole south region. It simply will never stop.” The President also said, “The victory for me will be when our people return, the bombing ends, when we will have our territory returned, and Russia will not be on it.”
