Zelensky has signed into law the localization in mechanical engineering.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has just signed a law requiring the presence of a Ukrainian component in the public procurement of engineering products. According to the co-author of the law Dmytro Kysylevsky, in the first year of the law, at least 10% of the Ukrainian component will be required to purchase engineering products, and this figure will increase by 5% annually until it reaches 40%. The new law will lead to the creation of 64,000 jobs, and a GDP growth of 4.2% in the medium term is an extremely important effect that is expected after the entry into force.
