While the partners are discussing support for the Ukrainian Navy and cyber security, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have scaled back several operations due to a lack of weapons.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to reduce military operations due to a shortage of artillery shells against the background of a decrease in aid from Western allies. Ammunition problems, especially 122- and 152-mm shells, are being felt across the front line.
In this regard, the ISW notes that the lack of artillery and delays in Western aid will in turn delay counteroffensive operations in 2024.
Meanwhile, Ukraine and Britain plan to sign a 10-year security agreement, under which the British will provide its experience to help Ukraine control the Black Sea. The document will also contain post-war security guarantees. It is focused on increasing the supply of weapons and restoring sanctions.
Recorded Future, the world’s largest private threat intelligence analysis company, will continue supporting Ukraine in 2024 and will provide more than $23M. Its tools help detect and respond to cyber-attacks in the early stages. This year, the company has already provided Ukraine with $20M in aid.
