State energy company Ukrenergo worked on different scenarios of the heating season, including the absence of power generation from the Zaporizhzhya NPP. In all these cases, consumers will be provided with electricity. According to the chairman Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the company is preparing backup power supplies and an emergency reserve in the event of additional Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Kudrytsky noted the importance of Ukraine’s connection with Europe’s energy system, which allows for receiving electricity from abroad, radically changing the energy security situation.
