Ukrainian retailers are building out their logistics infrastructure to ensure operational stability.

Over the course of the war, companies across various retail segments have been building or purchasing warehouses. For instance, the Eva cosmetics sales network is considering acquiring a logistics complex near Kyiv that covers an area of 19,000 square meters. The company plans to embrace the e-commerce sector and broaden its range of product lines, which has led to the ongoing construction of additional warehouse space in Lviv. The total area of Eva’s warehouses is currently 120,000 square meters.

Terwin Corporation, Eva co-owner, is also executing a large-scale project called WinHub. This project entails the construction of innovative logistics hubs spanning a million square meters of Class A warehouse space across four regions of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the largest Ukrainian dollar store chain, Aurora, became the owner of the West Gate Logistic complex in the Kyiv region last year, which has an area of approximately 97,000 square meters. Over €50M is required to restore the complex, which sustained significant damage as a result of Russian aggression.

Eva Afina Group, Epicentr K, Novus, and Foxtrot are also actively expanding their warehouse capacities.
